Itinerary |
Day 1 - Alice Springs to Kings Canyon & Uluru
We journey to Kings Canyon where we explore the spectacular North and South Walls, the ‘Amphitheatre’, ‘Lost City’ and the ‘Garden of Eden’. (In summer, walks may be shortened due to extreme temperatures). After lunch, we travel on to Uluru (Ayers Rock) for our overnight stay in our private campsite. (LD)
Day 2 - Uluru to Alice Springs
It’s an early start for one of the highlights of the tour - the Uluru sunrise. Enjoy a walk around the base exploring the mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal art sites while watching the changing light on the desert or you can choose to climb Uluru. We visit the red domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and learn about the significance of this spiritual place. After lunch, we depart for Alice Springs viewing the rugged desert scenery along the way. Alice Motor Inn/Alice Lodge Backpackers reserves the right to alter the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure.
A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour. Alice Lodge backpackers can’t guarantee pick up or drop off times and are not liable for passenger failure to connect with other services. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or baggage.
Alice Motor Inn/Alice Lodge Backpackers will charge the following fees in event of booking cancellations: Before 48 Hours -25% of Fare. 24 Hours - 48 Hours-50% of Fare. Within 24 Hours 100% of Fare.
There is a $1 per $100 credit card levy when processing bookings.. |
